Terms of Service / Privacy Policy

Owner is responsible and will ensure that their pet is up-to-date with their vaccinations, flea and tick treatments and de-wormer treatments.

Owner is to make full disclosure of any quality or characteristic problems which might make your pet not suitable for walking or home boarding; including behavioral or health problems, antisocial behavior; including aggression, incontinence or lack of house training and excessive loud barking or whining.

We make every effort to contact the owner in the event of an emergency. We require owners to provide us with a contact number of a trusted third party should we be unable to make contact. However, in the event contact with the owner or third party is not available, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding your pet's health provided it is at all times acting in the best interests of the pet and/or on the advice of a veterinary surgeon. Owner is responsible for payment of any such veterinary fees and lock-out costs associated with waiting times incurred by ThePampered.Pet. 

   

Booking:

(Walking)  Clients must ensure that their requirements for service are e-mailed, text or called in to us and confirmed. Payment is due before service is rendered and additional charges, if any, will be due upon completion of service. 

(Sleep-Overs)  We ask for a minimum of two-days notice prior to the proposed stay. If payment is not sent at time of your booking, we are not able to guarantee your reservation.

Cancellation:

(Walking) In order to best serve your needs, the strict cancellation policy is as follows – Daily Walks are subject to a 24 Hour cancellation period. Most of our commitments are made weeks in advance. Several days before your visits, the sitter picks up your key from the office and reviews your profile.

(Sleep-Overs) If canceled eight (8) or more days in advance, there is no charge and if payment has been made will be refunded. Cancellations between three (3) to seven (7) days, will be charged a 25% cancellation fee.  Cancellations within two (2) days will incur a 100% charge and no refunds.

 

Charges:

(Walking)  Charges are as published on our rates page. Please visit the rates section on our website to review them fully. Please be aware that our rates are very competitive and are not negotiable.

(Sleep-Overs)  Charges are per 12 hour day.

 

Late Fees:

As policy, we require payment for services before services are rendered. In some cases we will invoice for services during or after services are rendered as an accommodation to our clients.  A late fee of $5 will be applied if an invoice is not paid within 72 hours  The late fee will be charged for each week thereafter for an unpaid invoice. 

 

Package Termination Policy:

Clients and ThePampered.Pet agree to give eight (8) days written notice to cancel a package / long term service agreement.  In the event the cancellation occurs during the package term, refunds will not be prorated.  Charges will revert back to daily rates to calculate refunds, if any.

 

Flexibility is required:

Your booked time is estimated and we make every effort to arrive at the time given.   Depending on traffic conditions and unforeseen circumstances, please allow approximately 30 minutes after your booked time slot for ThePampered.Pet to arrive. In adverse weather conditions please understand that we are still open and may be slightly delayed. If however, we are more than two hours overdue then ThePampered.Pet will refund 50% of the walk. Please note that time starts from when ThePampered.Pet arrives at your property. Clients may also make further service requests to ThePampered.Pet which will take extra time out of your booked walk.

 

Privacy Policy:

This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for ThePampered.Pet. This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by this web site. It will notify you of the following: 

  1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the web site, how it is used and with whom it may be shared. 

  2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data. 

  3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information. 

  4. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

 

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing:
We are the sole holders of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. 

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to complete an order. 

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or complete services, or changes to this privacy policy.

 

Your Access to and Control Over Information:
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address on our website: 

   • See what data we have about you, if any. 

   • Change/correct any data we have about you. 

   • Have us delete any data we have about you. 

   • Express any concern you have about our use of your data. 

Security:
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. 

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way.

While we and our payment provider use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to your information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment. 

Updates:

Our Privacy Policy and Terms may change from time to time and all updates will be posted on this page. If the changes are significant we will provide more prominent notice.

Orders:
We request information from you on our website. To secure services  from us you must provide contact information (like name and address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your service orders. If we have trouble processing a service order, we'll use this information to contact you. 


Cookies:
We may use "cookies" on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site.
